Aww

Little ceramic kitty. He use to have a sweet peasant owner with no arms but I threw him/her away before taking a picture. So now he is a little abandoned kitty. I might break off his tail and make him a mole. Moles are much more independent and blind to what they are missing.

Aww

idol chatter (III)

Reading Flannery O'Connor's A Good Man Is Hard to Find literally made me nauseous yesterday.

"There was not a cloud in the sky nor any sun. There was nothing around her but woods. She wanted to tell him that he must pray. She opened and closed her mouth several times before anything came out. Finally she found herself saying, 'Jesus, Jesus,' meaning, Jesus will help you, but the way she was saying it, it sounded as if she might be cursing."

To put away in the archives. Things I don't want to forget:

Mood=Bawling

Detail of Judith Beheading Holofernes, John Mix Stanley's Buffalo Hunt on the Southern Prarie, Carravaggio's Judith Beheading Holofernes, Egon Schiele's Death and the Maiden and Man Bending Down Deeply, Ana Medienta's Imagen de Yagul and (There is a Devil inside Me) film stills from Untitled (Blood Sign #1) and Cezanne's Three Skulls

Take Two

This one is an obscure van Gogh I took from my day -to- day calendar. Sorry June 13, 2012!
One more candle to go.

I don't even know what it means.

Test run successful. The Mod-Podge works! It turns painting cards into reliable candle decorations. Now to refine my technique.

consumer's high

I purchased some goods for personal use today, and cannot wait to get started on this long awaited project.
After shots to follow.

No, I am fiiiiiiiiine.

The light was so pretty this afternoon.
This is a math doodle from day one. I think we were reviewing addition.

chicagOH, YOU ARE TOO GENEROUS! (Part XI)

Another found object. This I found on a rainy night (forty degrees fahrenheit) under a lit statue of Mary Magdalene. I hope it is not cursed - or blessed rather.
